Accessibility Policy
Effective 11 August 2026
Our commitment
Elevis aims to make its public website, portal, staff tools and Windows application usable by people with a wide range of visual, auditory, physical and cognitive needs. Our target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA for user-facing web content. A target is not a certification, and we will publish known limitations honestly.
Design and development
We design for keyboard access, visible focus, screen-reader names, semantic structure, sufficient contrast, text resizing, responsive reflow, alternatives to pointer gestures, understandable errors, consistent help and accessible authentication. Motion and time limits should be avoidable where practical. New work is checked using automated tools and manual keyboard, zoom and assistive-technology testing.
Documents and support
Important documents should use headings, meaningful link text and readable structure. Where an exported document is not accessible, request an alternative. Support is available by portal ticket or support@elevis.co.uk; a human operator route remains available.
Reporting a barrier
Tell us the page or feature, device, app/browser version, assistive technology and what you were trying to do. Do not send passwords or unnecessary health information. We acknowledge reports, assess severity and provide a workaround where possible. Critical account, privacy and treatment-record tasks receive priority.
Review
Accessibility is considered during procurement, content approval, development and release review. This policy and outstanding barriers are reviewed at least annually and after material redesign.
