Cookie Policy
Effective 14 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-14
Cookies and similar browser storage are small records used by websites and web apps. The native Windows app uses protected operating-system storage for session credentials rather than browser cookies.
Strictly necessary use
Elevis uses security and session storage needed to sign you in, refresh a protected session, prevent abuse, retain a support conversation and remember privacy choices. These functions are essential to a service you request and cannot be switched off through the public-site consent banner, although you can sign out, revoke sessions or clear browser data.
Preferences
Local browser storage may remember accessibility, theme, interface and consent choices. The public website stores elevis.publicAnalyticsConsent.v1 so it can remember whether you allowed or rejected optional analytics. Removing browser storage resets those choices but does not delete server-side tracker records.
Optional Google Analytics
On the public pages at elevis.co.uk only, Elevis can use Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits, general traffic sources, approximate region, browser and device information. The Google tag is not loaded until you select “Allow analytics”. It is not installed in the account portal, tracker, staff panel or Windows application, and Elevis does not send names, email addresses, medication records, support messages or account identifiers to Google Analytics.
When allowed, Google Analytics may create first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<stream-id> to distinguish a browser and retain session state. Elevis configures these cookies for no more than six months from the original choice and disables Google Signals and advertising personalisation. Google may process analytics information as a service provider under its applicable terms.
Refusing or withdrawing consent
Rejecting analytics does not reduce Elevis functionality. Use “Cookie settings” in the public-site footer to change your choice. Withdrawal updates the consent state and Elevis attempts to remove its Google Analytics cookies; you can also clear site data in your browser. Refusal is presented as clearly as acceptance.
Payments
When you choose checkout or billing management, you leave Elevis for Stripe-hosted pages. Stripe may use technologies necessary for payment, fraud prevention and its service under its own notices.
